I was tickled to see this article. For years, since my grandson was very little and very afraid of the dark, we have sprayed his room with what we call "Uh Oh" spray. We simply use a drop or two of his choice of essential oil mixed with filtered water in a small, clean spray bottle. We didn't have to explain much except to tell him the spray kept away "uh oh"s. Now, he has no fears but still loves a pleasant scent in his room and encourages us to use it for his baby sister, too. This was such a sweet help for a scarey problem. Glad you printed the idea.
